The other day I went on a Nature Walk around the property to enjoy the “new life” of Spring. I had such a fun time taking pictures of everything starting out and found myself so excited anticipating what everything will look like in full bloom this early summer.

Rhubarb, chives, herbs, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, grapes and a few apples!
Then the Lord has blessed us with these beautiful flowers…

My favorites are Lilac, Hydrangea, Wisteria, Roses, Bachelor Buttons, Black Eyed Susans, okay so I like them all!

What is the fruit of Abiding in Christ?

JOY

In the parable of the vine and the branches the Lord speaks of His joy!

“These things I have spoken to you that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11

Joy on earth is intimately connected with the True Vine, Christ… so joy is an essential characteristic of the life of the believer who fully abides in Christ, the Heavenly Vine.

“We all know the value of joy. It alone is the proof that what we have really satisfies the heart. There is no proof of the reality of God’s love and blessing He bestows, which people so quickly feel the strength of, as when the joy of God overcomes all the trials of life.” Andrew Murray, “Abiding in Christ”

Here are the Iris and Honeysuckle Clematis I planted 2 years ago coming on strong!
