I AM 30!

I have to brag on my husband a bit here!
Friday morning my husband told me he didn’t have time to plan anything for my 30th birthday because we already had soooo much going on this past weekend (1 family birthday party for all our August birthdays, 2 weddings, my brother’s graduation party, and church). I didn’t get upset but I have to admit I was a little disappointed
. After all, You only turn 30 once!

So apparently he proceeded to plan an amazing night for me in spite of all of that.

So here it is…

He didn’t tell me anything much except that I need to be dressed up by 5:45pm.

Then THEY CAME!Isaac rented a HUGE beautiful limo and got most of my closest friends and family to come join for a night out at the Melting Pot in Downtown Portland.

It was so much fun!
I was shocked!!!
I am still overwhelmed by all he did for me. I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband!

So once we got in the limo he had assigned certain tasks to different people.
There were picture takers, present opening gals, sharing time leader & prayer coordinator.
WOW!
Then to top it off he ordered this amazing picture frame and drove all over town (Sandy…Milwaukie…Oregon City… Gresham) to get them all to sign it before they got to my house. Then he had them prepare scripture and something special to share with me at dinner!

I totally do not deserve the things these women blessed me with. It was so humbling and I am so thankful for the blessing that everyone of them is in my life.
Thank you for all your support over the years and all the prayers you have prayed on my behave!
Thank you for your fellowship and encouragement.
You are all so unique and bless my life in such different ways.

The most amazing thing was that all my faithful friends were able to adjust their schedules and convince their hubbies to watch all their kids for the night… in such late notice. Thanks guys! I know what a commitment that is to have your spouse gone for the night. I don’t feel worthy, but I sure enjoyed having them with me.

To Isaac, My Love

I love you and want to thank you for sacrificing your busiest day at work for me and my birthday. I pray the Lord blessed you today at your meeting so far away for putting our marriage and my birthday before work.
You are so good at spinning all your “plates.”
It is something I am still trying to learn from you!
You went above and beyond Sir!

Thank you!

Thank you to you all who signed my frame in love!
It will be a constant reminder for me of how many special people God has blessed my life with!

I Love You All!
