Tip #2 To A Stress-less Holiday

Choose Wisely ~ It’s Ok to Say No!

Choose the events that you are going to participate in wisely. Pray over your calendar! It is so easy for us to over fill our calendars, especially this month. We do it every year. Being too busy can steal your joy; especially with events that maybe feel more like obligations. So commit your calendar to the Lord, surrender it to Him. Remember what this season is really about… and don’t let yourself get distracted from enjoying and delighting in what God has done. We get distracted when we don’t allow ourselves the time to enjoy- so schedule in the time if you have to.

“Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.” Psalm 37:5, ESV

or check out this version…

“Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.” Psalm 37:5, NLT

If we want God to act through our lives this Christmas, we have to commit our way… our schedules to Him. Asking Him what He would have us commit to this month and getting it on the schedule helps us all to enjoy the season more… when we know we are walking in His will and what He has asked us to do… we will have more Joy and Peace.

I’m praying for you all- May you experience His Presence this Christmas in a new way. I am praying that as you are decorating and scheduling what parties to go to… you are praying over those commitments and have the courage to say no to some in order to really delight in the Lord, and experience authentic communion with Him and those closest to you.

Blessings and remember that the Christmas Blessing Giveaway is still happening over here.
